Visit to Cornalvo Natural Park

Last wednesday, november the 23st., we have visited Cornalvo, near Mérida. It was such a good day learning a lot about this Natural Park.
The park guards have tought us a lot of things about nature.
Then we could see the roman reservoir where there was a lot of ducks.
We had a walk around the reservoir, seeing holm oaks (encinas) and  cork oaks (alcornoques). On the ground we found some mushrooms. The iberian pigs were eating the acorns of the trees.
At 12 o'clock we had lunch beneath an huge cork oak which is named "The Emérito".
